Sheer Glam
A makeover can be a major transformation or it can be as simple as getting a stylish hair cut to update your look. It’s undeniable however, that a new style can lift your spirits and make you see yourself in a whole new light. For Mary Ann Telles, we went all out!
Before
Mary Ann’s warm skin tone and warm hair color was making her look monochromatic. And although she did a great job matching her foundation, the rest of her makeup needed an update while her wardrobe was a little too casual.
Makeup
Because Mary Ann has beautiful eyes, Shayna Foster chose to emphasized them with shimmery gold and bronze colors on the lids and polished it up with Cacao eyeliner. For the black dress, she applied had Brazilian tan bronzer and shades of pink for the lips. With the red dress Mary Ann wore Amazonia bronzer and shades of peach for the lips.
Dresses
The beading on the black fitted evening gown gives it an elegant feel, yet it is practical for any special occasion. It is accompanied by silver heels adorned with rhinestones.
The red dress is a flirty A-line style suitable for any wedding, graduation or quinceañera this season. It is accompanied by gold heels adorned with rhinestones.
Hair
Marco Carmona used Aveda Full Spectrum hair color—which is 97% pure plant pigment—for both the base color and highlights. He did a richer, deeper brown, which accentuates her eyes and is more complimentary to her skin tone. He also gave her very subtle natural highlights. Marco decided to keep the length but incorporated long layers with a side swept bang for a softer look.
